Regarding chickens and laying

Hello everyone,

Here is some information regarding the chickens and the laying process:

1. They will begin to lay around 20-24 weeks-  late August/September :)
2. The eggs will be small at first(pullet eggs)
3. When molting (losing feathers) the chicken will either lay very small eggs or no eggs at all.

Well, that's all the new information currently.  Hope to post soon!
In Christ,
Seth

P.S- We will begin to post anything we learn about chickens and pictures of chickens every week on Friday or Saturday! Hope that helps and we appreciate y'all!!

  1. Hey guys!

There is a chance you don't know me, but I know y'all ;) We come pick up Quail Cove and have seen you at the homeschool convention many times.

Anyways, it's great that you got some chicks! I'm a huge fan of chickens and am looking forward to watching your chicks grow into one of God's beautiful creations that will serve you by laying delicious eggs!

    God Bless,
    Matthew
